About the New York Chapter:

The New York Chapter of the Association for Gravestone Studies (AGS) focuses on the study and preservation of gravestones and cemeteries, thereby furthering the goals of AGS on a state level. We host biannual meetings, cemetery visits and other events in New York.

All chapter events are open to the general public. While our chapter does not have members, we encourage those who attend our events to join the national AGS organization.

The New York Chapter was founded in 2013. Eva Bowerman is Chapter Chair and Sarah Tietje-Mietz is Chapter Secretary. Committee members include Brooke Young Russell, Kelly Ruffel, Marena Wisniewski, and Joseph Ferrannini.

If you are interested in volunteering for the New York Chapter of AGS, or have questions or suggestions, please contact Eva Bowerman, Chapter Chair.
